When you are a parent with young children, a good diaper bag is a necessity. From the necessities that need to be replaced to the baby's favorite pacifier or toy, the diaper bag is crucial, and losing it can be a nightmare.

Therefore, when Reddit user "dashedhopes9942" found a diaper bag in Yaletown, they knew they had to find the family to which it belonged. The kind Samaritan turned to their favorite social media and found the owner with only one clue: the lock screen picture on the iPad in his bag.

"We are waiting for this family to leave outside Cioppino's Mediterranean BBQ in Yaletown so we can take their parking space away, but as soon as they left, we stopped and we noticed that they put all of them in a bag. Baby products and an iPad," said dashedhopes9942 on Reddit.

Since there is no other identifiable information, they posted an iPad photo on the r/Vancouver subreddit. The picture on the lock screen depicts a happy family in the snow: a baby, mom and dad, and two dogs.

Fortunately, this is a very reliable clue, because people quickly recognized his father: he is Vancouver Canucks forward Justin Dowling.

Sure enough, this picture is of Dowling and his wife Meg, their daughter Perry, and their two Australian shepherds Jet and Pearl. Dowling even has a photo of Perri on his Instagram, from the same photo.

Fortunately, Meg Dowling received a reminder of the post and contacted dashedhopes9942 and will get back their diaper bag.

A Reddit user named "megwdowling" replied that he was obviously surprised, "Hello!!! This is my family and me, haha, can you send me a message, I can get it from you Back to my diaper bag haha! Oh, my goodness!!!"

The original poster subsequently confirmed in the update that they had made contact with Meg and would drop the bag.

Dowling’s family are the darlings of the 2020 playoff bubble because they were the first family members to clear the Edmonton quarantine agreement. Five-month-old Perry has received a lot of attention from NHL players, who miss their family in their hometown.

When Dowling's Dallas Stars defeated the Vegas Golden Cavaliers in the Western Conference Finals, Perry even participated in the star team's locker room celebrations, and Dowling's teammates hit her with their fists.

"She obviously doesn't know what happened, but it's funny," Meg told the Dallas News. "Justin said she didn't even cry or looked scared."

I hope Perry can celebrate with the Canucks in the future.
